Welcome & how to navigate around this course

Hello and welcome!

This is a new course being written in August 2024, and will be almost the same as 'Family Friendly Biodynamics: intuitive gardening with children' except that the images and videos will be a little shorter, and not be centred around child-friendly activities.

Section One is the longest section, but probably the most important - it's having a good think through what you actually want to grow. In my mind, this is best defined by what you want to eat. Get set to make a few lists.

[I'll upload the Foundations of Edible Gardening lesson for this, just as a placeholder till I record a new version]

Section Two will be starting a new garden from scratch, so if you already have a garden you can skip that section and go straight to the seasonal tasks, or the quick guides to biodynamic preparations.

[I'll upload the Family Friendly Biodynamic videos as temporary placeholders)

Section Three: Season by season, tasks you can fit into a short block of time here or there. Chip away at your garden in small blocks of time and you shouldn't ever feel like it's a hard slog or insurmountable problem.

[I'll upload the Family Friendly Biodynamic videos as temporary placeholders]

Section Four: there are SO many biodynamic remedies, and when you're just starting out it's hard to know where to begin. I hope this section will help! (Quick tip: most home gardeners can use CPP & BD508, and save the rest for community stirs)

[this section coming soon]

For the Biodynamic Moon Calendar, I recommend my monthly YouTube updates, they are free, and designed to get you planning your tasks for the month within a couple of minutes. I waffle on for about 20 minutes just for those who like keeping up with all the community projects and family photos.

Thanks for being here.
